Not quite a jacket. Not quite a robe.
Something more useful than either.

This piece began as an experiment —
inspired by the hanten and the gown,
refined until it became something entirely its own.

Developed in Wakayama, Japan, on the same vintage machines
as every other kitt piece.
At 570g, it has presence without weight.
The dropped shoulder drapes naturally.
The pockets are deep enough to matter.
The ribbed cuffs hold their shape.

Wear it over a kitt Pullover at home.
Wear it over a shirt outside.
It does not demand a context.
It simply works.

The Colours

Oatmeal
A warm, undyed tone — cream edging toward sand. Soft in any light.

Monochrome
Two shades of grey knitted into one surface. Charcoal from a distance; more complex up close.

Rich Black
Dyed in Kyoto. A black that absorbs light rather than reflecting it.

Measurements taken flat; slight variations (1–2 cm) may occur.
Sleeve length measured from side of neckline due to raglan sleeve construction.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash on a gentle or hand-wash cycle.
• Turn inside out and wash in a mesh laundry bag.
• Use mild detergent. Avoid fluorescent brighteners.
• Tumble dry on low if necessary. Air drying preserves softness and shape.
• Do not bleach.

Care Note — Fibre Shedding

This piece features a brushed fleece lining.
When new, loose fibres may shed onto garments worn underneath.

· Oatmeal / Monochrome → may shed onto dark garments

Shedding reduces significantly after a few washes.
